remember what used to get you going? today we were listening to old songs and I was sharing my favorite ones with Gabe and Andrea. They never heard of Prince or the movie Purple RAIN. I remember how I used to love to listen to those old songs from the 80's.

Time will pass and then you will grow old....keep yourself young by remembering your youth and making it count.

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them"--

I know there are ups and downs everyday. I have learned to cast my care upon the Lord. Earlier years I made a mess of things. I would do things myself and then when I made a mess of everything I would ask God to help me out then...now I know to ask him first. 

No one ever told me to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I am so glad in my later years that I was told that so I come to talk to him, believe in him, write to him and sing to him and he is there even though I can not see him his presence is there. You will learn him also if you trust and obey. It has been such a good life for me since I turned myself over to the Lord and his saving grace. ...his power...leads me out of all troubles and still the waters.

Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.

Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

Winter Jam 2012 was hopping
rapping and singing...it was show stopping
lives saved and hearts touched
Skillet's drummer slammed it much
lights and smoke and raising hand
all the shows were in awe grand
people standing in line to buy a cd
while others touched in prayer even me
Jesus packed the house imagine that!
I give him a clap and tip my hat
People have no idea what they missed
I bet Jesus gave them a hug and even a kiss
what a performance we watched in stands
raising voices in honor and even our right hand
see you next year and get in line
for you will see performers so divine
we have rap and jumping too
Winterjam makes Christians look really cool
we saw tour buses and they signed autographs too
imagine that..just like celebrities in the world do
I know he liked all the songs
but most of all everyone getting along
fellowship with Christians is not so bad
when we hop and scream and no one is sad
we moved in rhythm
we moved in spirit
we moved in love
and we got with it
Thank you Lord
we give you all the GLORY

Writing by Faith not by Sight by Pam DeLoach

I can say that I am writing by faith and not by sight. Yes I see what I am writing but am I really confident in my ability?  I would say that I am not. I would tell you if it were not for the Love of God I would not even attempt. I have to use spell check because I do not spell good. I can not make the computer re-write for proper English sentences but if there was such a tool I am sure I would use it. Please let me know if there is....

What I do know is that Jesus loves me and he is proud of the attempt. Whether  I am successful or I am a failure I do believe and that it is greatness in his eyes. I will keep on writing and maybe one day I can see  the end results. Maybe when I get to heaven Jesus will point out to me the two or three people that read these blogs and received salvation thru my attempt of trying to spread his word....I sure hope so.

Ro 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Prayer for Salvation

Lord please forgive my sins

And enter into my heart

Do not let me delay another minute

As the day does depart

I know that I am a sinner

I know that you died for me

And If I believe in you

Eternal life do I receive

I do know my life is lost

And I do not know my way

But I hear if I trust in you

I will be reborn this very day

Help me walk in victory

My time here is short
